Senior/Brand Manager

TITLE: Senior / Brand Manager

LOCATION: Middlesex


REPORTING TO: Marketing Manager

To define and implement an effective brand strategy and communication plan in line with the company process; optimise brand success through robust business analysis, tactical implementation and measuring performance through KPI tracking; effectively manage the promotional budget and recommend key initiatives based on business and environmental issues and ensure effective return on investment is achieved. Manage key external and internal relationships to ensure effective delivery of results.

" Development of the Brand Plan
- Developing (or applying) the Brand Vision, Core Values, Product and Brand positioning
- Identification of business improvement opportunities
- Business analysis, issue identification, identification of key knowledge gaps and construction of market research plan
" Production forecasts
" Determination and tracking of KPI's
" Implementation of the tactical plan
- Implementation of key programmes
- Brief and manage external agencies to deliver clear communications in line with Brand Positioning
- Working with external agencies for programme and material development
" Development of promotional materials
- Providing clear strategic direction and instruction
- Developing appropriate materials to allow field teams to deliver communication objectives; working with field teams in development of materials
- Providing appropriate briefings
- Managing the approval process for promotional materials
- Manage marketing material stocks
" Product & Disease Area Expertise
- Acquiring competent product knowledge
- Understand competitor data and strategy

" Market Knowledge
- Understand market size & opportunity
- Understand customers and identify customer needs
- Understand patient needs
" Managing cross-functional team member relationships
- Ensure effective working of cross-functional team
- Facilitate smooth approval of marketing materials
" Financial management
- Track and monitor promotional budget spend
- Assess return on investment
" Communicate effectively with both global and local colleagues as appropriate
" Business analysis
- Contribute to business analysis discussions
- Assist with the identification of key business issues
