Area Sales Manager
JOB TITLE: Area Sales Manager
REGION: South West (Mid/South Wales, Avon, Sommerset, Gloucestershire, Devon, Cornwall)
REPORTS: 8 direct
PRODUCTS: Patient Handling Devices, Akron Range, Medical Beds and Therapeutic Surfaces , Hygiene and Disinfection
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Provide Sales team leadership and direction for the designated channel with the aim of achieving/exceeding sales targets and business growth.
- Work in a key account Management way, with focus on excellent customer service at every level. Oversee the KAM plans for the Area and ensure they are of the required quality and have cross functional input.
- Drive senior level Customer engagement and build professional relationship with both current and prospects, through the promotion of the company’s existing and new products via presentations, demonstrations and related general marketing activities etc.
- Create and implement annual business plans, quarterly reviews and regular team personal development plans. Achieve targets and manage budgets for your respective team. Ensure the team prepares and effectively implements the territory plans in a timely manner
- Implement the ArjoHuntleigh selling process and utilise the planning and reporting tools effectively to ensure a consistent approach.
- Enable a high level of cross functional communication especially Service, Rental & - Operations and work closely with support teams to deliver an outstanding customer service and sales growth.
- Lead participation in all tender submissions in the area and allocate appropriate resources to support the agreed business outcomes. Working closely with the Contract Management - Team and RBM on successful tendering outcomes.
- Provide mentoring, coaching and guidance to team members develop the team members and simultaneously maximise service to the customers. Focus on communication, knowledge management and collaboration.
- Produce accurate forecasts and timely reports on progress against the region’s business plan in accordance to required timescales.
- Provide feedback on the performance of ArjoHuntleigh and competitor products/applications to the relevant departments.
- Adherence to ArjoHuntleigh code of conduct and policies and procedures including Health & Safety.
