Title: Brand Manager, Multi-channel
Division: Global Human Health - Established Brands (cross-portfolio)
Location: Hoddesdon

This is an opportunity to join an entreprenurial marketing team within our Established Brands dept to creatively manage a growing portfolio of over 40 mature MSD brands covering a diversity of therapeutic areas.

Your specific areas of focus will be to optimise the late life-cycle management of key brands in the areas of, Bladder Cancer, Women's Health , Migraine , CNS , Respiratory, Male Pattern Hair Loss & Ophthalmology.

Your role will be to develop & implement marketing plans for selected products utilising multi-channels to drive business results & strategic objectives. You will have full ownership of multi-channel initiatives across the portfolio and will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategic and tactical plans. In addition, you will be the lead marketing contact for several brands in the portfolio, and lead the strategic planning process. You will have responsibility for delivering increased value for these brands for the organisation through their effective promotion. As member of the mature brands marketing team you will have opportunity for direct engagement with global and regional brand leads.

Person Profile

Knowledge Required:
Pharmaceutical marketing experience preferably including mature brands management; creative use of multi-channels. You could now be seeking to develop experience in managing a portfolio.
Good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and the value of multi-channel engagement with stakeholders.
Proven Ability to understand multiple therapy areas, uncover insights into patient behaviour and patient support and integrate policy considerations
Marketing programme development.
In-depth understanding of marketing mix and its applications

Skills and Competencies Required
o Brand marketing experience with experience in developing marketing plans
o Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining customer relationships.
o Preferred experience in the development of multichannel / digital programmes
o Ability to create robust marketing strategies and tactical plans
o Commercial awareness and acumen
o Project implementation and analytics
o Strengths in project management and organisation
o Excellent analytical skills and familiarity with strategic analytics
o Communications and interpersonal skills
o Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
o Capacity to work across a range of internal and external stakeholders and engage
