Medical Information Administrator

Title: Medical Information Administrator

Location: High Wycombe, Bucks.

Provide administrative support to the medical information (MI) function. Respond to medical information requests from internal and external customers using standard responses, under the guidance of the MI Officers, including requests for literature and patient support materials.
- Manage the MI inbox throughout the day
- Log incoming enquiries on to CRM system
- Respond to medical information requests from internal and external customers using standard responses, under the guidance of the Medical information Officers and record these activities on the CRM system
- Complete correspondence relating to some enquiries
- Administer production of specialist patient information leaflet in response to customer requests. Record requests on the database, contact designated specialist agency for production of patient information leaflet in relevant format (Braille or audio) so that the customer receives the PIL in a timely manner.
- Run the weekly product complaint medical information reconciliation report
- Provide revised Summary of Product Characteristics to Sales, Marketing and Medical staff Assist the MI team with the uploading and cycle management of MI copy approval items in ZINC / Unitas
- Preparation and distribution of the medical information monthly report
- Ordering of Healthcare professional and patient support materials via the order management system
- Co-ordinate medical publications and journal subscription ordering in line with the needs of internal customers
- Recording of all UK & IRE journals that enter the medical information department and circulate relevant journals for adverse event review by the MI team
- Arrange meetings (including choosing and booking the venue, arranging catering, making travel and accommodation arrangements) and take minutes at the meeting, if appropriate
- Take responsibility for the ordering of stationary for the MI team and the maintenance of office equipment, ensuring printers and photocopiers are working efficiently
- Co-ordinate all arrangements for new starters (including organising a security pass, an invitation to induction training, and arrangements for a desk and equipment such as telephone and computer
