EMEA Product Manager

LOCATION: France, Maurens-Scopont

Key Purpose and Accountabilities:

Products: IVD tests for use in the areas of Healthcare Acquired Infections (HAI), Critical Infectious Disease, and Women's Health

Job Purpose and Accountabilities

Support the EMENA Marketing Manager to manage the existing HAI product portfolio with a focus on clinicians, infection control, laboratory, and administration to increase sales, and to achieve goals and plans

Contribute for the implementation of specific marketing programs and sales tools following the Marketing Excellence approach to maintain Cepheid as a HAI Leading Company in Molecular Biology. Push local marketing managers to fine tune segmentation & targeting. Take initiatives to improve market knowledge on existing product in order to provide better overview at EU level

- Provide support, tools and training to the Local Marketing Manager Team
- Train new hire, local marketing manager and distributor teams on products from both a clinical utility and technical aspect
- Help identify key opinion/visionary leaders throughout the region and help to cultivate those relationships to develop awareness and support for Cepheid.
- Drive publications on GX technology to be well represented in congresses and peer reviewed journals
- Competitive watch : provide on a regular basis update about competition and Cepheid market penetration (analysis of proficiency panels, KPI) and competitive trends
- Contribute to Sonoma plan
- Work closely with WW Marketing
- Participate in new product launch project teams

Job Package

Basic salary negotiable depending on experience, 15% bonus and relocation package on offer

Person Profile

Experience, qualifications, skills required:
- Bachelor degree or higher is required and a degree in the life sciences is highly desirable
- 3-5 Years in sales and marketing with a proven track record of success is required

- Expertise with complex, multi-departmental hospital sales is highly desirable
- Must have excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to deliver complex information into a simplified manner for the audience to understand
- Ability to read, analyse, and interpret business periodicals, scientific journals, technical procedures, package inserts, and regulatory regulations
- Excellent written English.
- Mastery of Powerpoint and Excel.
- Needs to be a creative problem solver

Other Requirements:
Strong track record of success creating demand for new, premium products
Requires 30-50% travel
