Marketing Manager, Oncology
LOCATION: Surrey
REPORTS TO: Oncology Director
PEERS: Other colleagues in Marketing, Sales and Medical
SUBORDINATES: Brand/Senior Brand Managers within Oncology
ROLE:
To develop, implement and evaluate product specific marketing plans in conjunction with other Oncology personnel to achieve both long and short term agreed business objectives, including sales and profitability targets, in accordance with the company strategic marketing plan. To successfully lead and manage direct reports to ensure objectives are met, brands are successfully managed, and sales and profit targets hit or exceeded.

Person Profile
Experience
- Minimum of 4-5 years experience of working within marketing.
- Track record of successfully launching/growing pharmaceutical brands within the UK market.
- Successful record of selling products for over 2 years as a sales/hospital/NHS representative.
- Previous leadership experience
- Oncology experience essential
Specific Skills
- In depth knowledge of the product , the competitors and the market place
- Numerical and Analytical skill
- People skills, effective communication, and interpersonal skills
- High standard of oral and written communication, including well developed presentation skills.
- Detailed knowledge of NHS policies, structures and processes.
- Sound understanding of clinical and market information pertinent to relevant therapy area is desirable.
- Excellent planning and time management skills, and evidence of competence in job related areas (see later for further details).
Education/Qualifications
- Degree in health or business related subject or equivalent qualification.
- ABPI qualified.
- Marketing or Business Qualification preferred
