Urology Account Manager

Territory: North and East Yorkshire

Products: Urology - New Product Launch

Purpose of Position:
To drive product usage and achieve sales targets in the local health economy across the territory
To own all accounts across the territory
To shape policy decisions in accounts through dialogue with the network of commissioners,
provider management and key decision making clinicians
To drive the implementation of marketing strategies across the territory

Core Tasks, Responsibilities & Authority
Responsible for the development of Astellas urology business within the accounts
To achieve the sales targets of the accounts through securing local funding, inclusion of Astellas products
on formulary, changes to protocol and service redesign (including changes to care pathway) by interaction
with but not limited to the following customers:
Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) leads
Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) medicines management
Urologists who are key to account decision making
Hospital management
Hospital pharmacists who are key to account decision making
Managing contacts with commissioning opinion leaders and developing advocates for speaker meetings

Person Profile

Sound Pharma and NHS Knowledge.
Experience at Management Level (Pharma or
NHS) or previous Role X experience essential.
Practical experience of working in partnership
with the NHS with tangible business outcome
Minimum of three years Sales experience in
ABPI qualified
