TERRITORY: Durham, Darlington, Teesside, York & Hull regions

Person Profile

Minimum:
Minimum Education requirement of GCSE or equivalent
ABPI Qualification
Full Clean UK Driving License, maximum 6 points
Success in a direct customer facing role in pharmaceutical industry or other industry
Proven track record and able to demonstrate that annual sales targets have been met or exceeded.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Clear understanding of key account management principles
Strong presentation and negotiation skills
Competent user of Microsoft office programmes

Desirable:
Degree level education or equivalent
Experience in a key account manager role
Commercial awareness and understanding of NHS environment

Technical Skills:
Highly motivated, positive, enthusiastic and goal orientated
Able to communicate scientific and medical information to health professionals at all levels in a confident and succinct manner
Ability to identify, prioritise and action short and long term possibilities for product portfolio at a local level
Project management skills to develop account plans with clear milestones and monitor progress
Ability to make timely and logical decisions based on information which considers calculated risks and maintains personal integrity
Ability to build beneficial relationships within organizations of the NHS
Ability to support gaining shared care protocols and treatment algorithms to develop integrated care pathways for relevant therapy areas in collaboration with KAS
Compliance with appropriate regulations, including ABPI code of practice
Negotiation, Strategic decision making, Influencing, Solutions driven and Business Planning
