Clinical Efficiency Manager
Territory: Flexible- ideally Midlands South.
Products: Infection Prevention
Responsibility for building and developing the Infection Prevention Solutions and Care bundle strategy for 3M IPD
· Play a key role in strategic planning, Participate annually in portfolio planning to input in the strategic planning process
· Identify and feedback any beneficial market opportunities, work with management, marketing and technical to compile and implement plans to address these opportunities
· Monitor trends in the market place (includes NHS policy reforms and monitoring) and report back to GSMM, Marketing Operations Manager and PS on customer, competitor and market activity
· Develop links with key associations and patient groups to ensure 3M IPD has a voice with these key stakeholders
· Develop KOL network for 3M IPD, provide link with key influencers
· Identify opportunities for us to bridge gaps in our offering to the marketplace i.e. where we don’t currently have an offering or a solution but could provide it through partnerships etc
· Work with clinical nurse teams to drive the infection prevention solutions strategy within the business teams. Look at specific surgical care pathways to develop 3M infection prevention messages that support the portfolio of products across IPD
· Build a communications strategy with the marketing team to position 3M as an expert in the market place
· Feed in to the local NPI growth initiatives through input in to the IPD growth team
· Strategy development – Develop the Infection prevention solutions strategy for the IPD team, owning the IPD ‘Own a space’ A3.
· Grow portfolio share in Hospital Market through Solution sell around the patient journey
· Develop a care bundle strategy centered around 3M portfolio and supported by other company products
· Provide a coordinated approach to Hospital senior decision makers (ICNs, DIPC) and influencers and users (Nurses, ODPs, Ward Managers)
· Leadership – Be a figurehead for Infection Prevention within the division, but also externally with customers and key associations e.g. IPS, HIS
· Market Intelligence – Be on top of key customer trends, competitor and market intelligence to guide the IPD group and Leadership team on key market changes.
· Working with IPD leadership team to promote business synergies and shape the future organisation
· Champion the vision of the IPD Division
· Provide a link to the Skin and Wound division for Infection prevention – represent the HC portfolio in relation to Infection prevention
Job Package
Basic Salary: £40k OTE, plus Company Car

Understanding of NHS, hospital market and Infection Control processes. Infection Prevention, clinical in a hospital setting.
Key Capabilities
Clinical nurse training. Infection control understanding within a hospital setting. Developing and Implementing infection prevention recommendations. Business acumen, creative thinking, independent thinker.
