Senior Market Access Manager - 3 month contract

INITIAL 3-MONTH CONTRACT

Location: Maidenhead

Job Purpose:

To gather insights from an in-depth understanding of customer needs and the wider NHS market place and provide appropriate support to Market Access Division and brand teams to deliver commercial objectives. Work with Area and global teams to ensure UK needs are met.

Major Accountabilities:

Deliver marketing and sales goals in line with Brand plans with minimum support from MA Director
Play an active part within brand and in-field teams and identify opportunities to work collaboratively with cross-functional colleagues to deliver on brand objectives. Ensure field team are fully briefed on brand and major strategy, objectives and support tools.
Independently provide Brand Teams with relevant customer insights
Understand changes in customer environment and provide updates in a timely manner to brand teams of events impacting the brand and suggestions for change on how the brand responds.
Create appropriate marketing messages and campaigns from a market access perspective ensuring the brand management principles are considered with minimum guidance from MA Director.
Support the Marketers with preparation of the Brand plan, in area of product responsibility.
Working with Market Access Regional Management teams to develop agreed outcomes for healthcare development managers and Centre of Excellence principles
Produce appropriate HDM support materials and support the execution of strategy
Support Value Propositions creation and ensure that new ones are created in conjunction with the Commercial Value Proposition Manager. Support the delivery of appropriate materials to meet the customer needs e.g. value proposition and budget impact models
Support and drive the training of analysis, tools, evidence, actions and programmes to support and communicate the value propositions
Understand stakeholder needs and requirements and how best to meet these whilst delivering Commercial Objectives
Support the delivery of pricing strategies together with Commercial Value Proposition Manager, Market Access Director and Head of Pricing
Take an active role inputting as required during new product development. Develop objectives and key stakeholder network prior to launch
Project Management across department and key brands

Experience and knowledge:

Successful track record and experience in Senior/ group Product / Brand Management
Successful track record as a Sales Representative
Experience of working in pharmaceutical industry at a management level
Market access commercial experience
Detailed knowledge of payer mindset and motivations in UK

Knowledge:

Deep understanding of the healthcare environment and the therapeutic area
Knowledge of key financial processes
Knowledge of customer characteristics

Skills:

Ability to show leadership within Market access team
Intermediate use of MS Office
Ability to develop content for Brand Plan using Market Access principles
Ability to translate strategic plan into tactical plan
