ROLE: Pharmacy Professional Services Manager
LOCATION: Head Office, Chessington (Some travel including overnight stays)
REPORTS TO: Head of Professional Services
PURPOSE:
The Professional Services Manager is engaged as a stakeholder within the business of all offerings taken to market via Professional Service to support Independent Pharmacy customers. The support focuses around all elements of the pharmacy contract, emerging opportunities within the NHS and developing and identifying opportunities with Pharma manufacturers.
Effectively manage, design & develop revenue generating opportunities for our customers by way of a range of Professional Service offerings that lead the industry, offering customers the best contract support available. Moving forwards, the objective is to develop outcome based evidence of patient care benefits on behalf of Community Pharmacy as a profession, to encourage increased commissioning of services and enabling manufacturer engagement. The is a need to demonstrate a clear return on investment for all service sponsors is core to the role

Person Profile
Ideal candidate will be a qualified Pharmacist, who has served at least 2-3 years working in Community Pharmacy.
Is likely to have extensive experience of the NHS - possibly with hands on PCT experience. Preferably the successful applicant will also have extensive commercial knowledge gained in a customer facing income generating role.
The ability to influence peers without authority is key, excellent analytical skills and project management experience are desirable.
