Territory Sales Manager

TERRITORY: Scotland and North East England

PRODUCTS: Selling the companies range of Laboratory Consumables and Equipment including, market leading Pasteur Pipettes, Pipette Tips, PCR products, Tubes, Caps and Vials Automation Consumables and Freezer Storage Racking.

CUSTOMERS include NHS Trusts, Universities, Life Science/Research and Industrial establishments.

This fast paced yet enjoyable role will allow the incumbent to demonstrate their flair for selling and an ability to focus on closing high value business, whilst continuing to maintain and grow smaller, but equally important, core business customers.

Job Package

Basic salary negotiable depending on experience
company car - similair to BMW 1 series
bonus scheme - generous commission and quarterly bonus scheme

Person Profile

Must be educated to degree/equivalent level in a LIFE SCIENCE
Likely to have at least one year's UK field sales experience in a scientific discipline
Confident in managing a territory
Self motivated and target driven
Based within the centre of Scotland
Clean and Full Driving Licence

field sales experience in a similar or related field, be able to consistently schedule and visit 25-30 customers a week and promptly execute the administration from these visits. You will have the confidence and maturity to liaise with customers at senior management level and the tenacity to follow the sales cycle to its ultimate conclusion. You will currently be based within easy reach of Glasgow and Edinburgh (the position will not be suitable for re-locators).
