9 month contract role

Location: Based from Head Office in Basingstoke

Therapy Area: Gastrointestinal

Reporting to: Sales and Marketing Director

" Create and implement 12-month marketing plan for Mezavant XL coordinating input from all parties involved to identify a clear marketing strategy and identify communication goals.
" To effectively manage the planning , market access and introduction of new license indications for the UK as defined by the S&M Director and GI BU
" To work in collaboration with other GI UK Product Manager in set projects
" To work efficiently and effectively as leader of the Mezavant XL brand team, ensuring cross-functional working and open communication at all times
" Effectively collaborate with the GI Business Unit to ensure that the LOC is able to implement Business Unit Strategy appropriately.
" Create lasting and mutually beneficial relationships with KOL's.
" Produce marketing information for the Sales Force including leaflets, brochures etc., by briefing Agencies. Ensure copy complies with company processes and ABPI Code of Practice.
" Conduct market research in conjunction with Market Research Manager to provide necessary information when formulating and executing plans.
" Research and anticipate external factors affecting the products in range by remaining up-to-date on all external developments within areas such as the NHS, legislation, the customer base, world-wide media perspectives etc
" Produce local forecasts to feed into international forecasting process (S&OP)
" Communicate effectively with the sales team to ensure implementation of the product strategy.
" Brief and monitor agencies to ensure integrated marketing communications strategy is reflected in all activities and that communication goals are met.
" Monitor effectiveness of promotion against agreed objectives.
" Manage promotional budgets to remain within agreed spending levels.
" Carry out other related tasks as required by the Business Unit Director.

Essential:

Degree in life sciences or equivalent
Product marketing experience in secondary care product(s)
IT literate, numerate and analytical
Self starter, able to complete tasks and manage to deadlines
Excellent communication/influencing skills.
ABPI accreditation

Desirable:

Further qualification in business or marketing
Pharma sales experience
Brand launch experience
