Senior Research Executive

Role: Senior Research Executive

Location : Herts

Run and deliver UK and international qualitative and quantitative research projects - including fieldwork, project management and client liaison - and actively participate in analysis and preparation of client debriefs

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Management
Able and confident to contribute (lead - with senior support where appropriate) to the smooth running and management of projects including specifically:
" Able to write a discussion guide following discussion with senior colleagues without supervision
" Able to write a quantitative questionnaire including routing
" Able to book a UK project into field
" Able to book an International project into field
" Able to write a briefing document for local agencies
" Able to access or generate all types of stimulus including mood boards, brand twinning, focus boards etc
" Confident and able to liaise with clients on a day to day basis on smaller projects
" Competent to liaise with quantitative suppliers to organize programming, scripting, overwriting etc of a questionnaire to get it ready for fieldwork

Fieldwork
UK
" Competent to conduct TQs and IDIs
" Able to conduct group based interviews such as duos, trios and quads
" Competent in the use of simple enabling and projective techniques
Foreign
" Competent to attend foreign fieldwork and take suitable notes
" Able to brief foreign agency and control research in foreign country or countries in line with input and guidance from senior staff

Able to manage UK and international quantitative fieldwork

Analysis
" Noting research findings from tape, and participating in analysis meetings with research findings and insights
" Able to structure own notes so that key findings can be quickly and concisely communicated to senior colleagues
" Making a genuine contribution to the insights generated through analysis
" Able to check data tables
" Able to analyse data tables and to chart quantitative results
" Able to conduct basic quantitative analysis

Debrief Writing
" Taking responsibility for writing discrete sections with only limited supervision and guidance of more experienced colleagues. Must be able to do this quickly and efficiently

Presentations
" Able to participate in debrief meetings making a contribution to discussions rather than just 'sitting in'
" Able to present small sections if asked to do so by Senior colleagues

Proposals
" Able to assist more senior colleagues with all aspects of proposal writing but not expected to take full responsibility for the final product

Account Management
" Able to play a support role in Account management by helping Senior colleagues as they develop relationships and identify opportunities
" Able to talk knowledgeably about BHI and our approach to research and client partnership
" Able to communicate the BHI positioning and key messages
