Job Title: Sales & Marketing Analyst (11-12 month FTC).

Location: Basingstoke

Reports To: Associate Director, Sales Analytics & Reporting

Primary Role:

As a key member of S&M Analytics team the Sales & Marketing Analyst will:

Assist Associate Director Sales Analytics & Reporting in supporting and developing CRM solutions.

Be responsible for CRM reporting through Business Objects and other key systems.

Create timely and accurate CRM management reports according to the defined requirements of the business as well as Ad Hoc reports to support tactical decision making.

Liaise closely with LOC CRM support staff, ensuring systems work effectively, and that functionality and reporting is aligned to their business needs.

Work closely with the ICO Sales & Marketing Analytics team to create intelligence reports based on combined Sales and CRM data to offer maximum support to all internal customers

Essential Functions:

90% Support and develop Nucleus, CRM reporting and other key management systems
Support the effective implementation and ongoing successful usage by LOCs of Nucleus (Shires' CRM solution), iCBI (Shires' data wareshousing and reporting solution) and other key systems.

Create Nucleus and iCBI management reports according to the defined requirements of the business. Ensure the systems and the reports derived from them support the needs of International Specialty Pharma, Business Units and Local Operating Companies. Proactively propose any system improvements and reports to ensure ongoing alignment with business needs. Create and deliver relevant and timely information and reports.

Liaise closely with LOC Business Insights Managers to ensure systems work effectively and functions and reporting are aligned to their business needs. Create 'problem and requirements' lists and ensure these are up to date. Raise with line manager and take ownership of delegated tasks.
Proactively and swiftly resolve issues wherever possible, or escalate as appropriate.

Undertake analytical tasks in support of the efficient and effective implementation of Nucleus and other systems in International.

Take the initiative and play an active role in user-testing, quality control and maintenance for Nucleus and other systems to ensure effective development, rollout and ongoing support of said systems.

Liaise with relevant ISP, LOC personnel and IS regarding feature design, implementation, testing and deployment of systems. Regular liaison with key vendors, including Oracle, IMS, Cegedim and others. Ensure the implementation of solutions meet business needs.

Work closely with the ICO Sales & Marketing Analytics team to ensure creation of intelligence reports based on a combination of a wide variety of data sources. Offer analysis and insight to guide the end user.

Maintain high quality Standard Operating Procedures of all key tasks

10% Support ad hoc reporting requirements for ISP Leadership
Undertake the creation and production of any other ad hoc analytical reports as required (eg. activity data, sales and market data, territory mapping, etc). Support the Associate Director Sales Analytics & Reporting in achieving all objectives as required

Person Profile

Education & Experience Requirements

o A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience .
o Demonstrable capability in supporting Pharma CRM (preferably Siebel) systems or other major SFA systems.
o Demonstrable capability in configuring and managing Sales and Marketing analytics and reporting systems and in supporting salesforces and marketing personnel in their use of these
o Demonstrable capability in using Business Objects to deliver Sales and Marketing analytics
o Demonstrable capability in database interrogation with good working knowledge of MS Office tools, including MS Access and Excel
o In depth understanding and familiarity with key data sources and providers in pharma
o Knowledge of reporting and analytical tools within the Pharmaceutical Industry
