The Patient Enagagement division delivers patient support programmes, adherence tools, social marketing campaigns and disease awareness programmes for a range of pharmaceutical and public sector clients.

Current accounts range from the largest ever patient support program, delivering materials, email reminders and web solutions across 33 countries; patient materials for Parkinson’s Disease; Contraception materials for teenagers in Sussex; and smoking cessation events for Somali’s in North London.

This is a huge opportunity for an Account Director looking to progress their career in a pivotal role that will lead the growth of our client during 2011.

Person Profile

Suitable candidates will have at least 8+ years experience gained within a Healthcare PR Agency.

They need to demonstrate a passion for patient communications, working on European & UK campaigns.

They need to show exceptional organisational, budgeting and leadership abilities, demonstrative award winning campaigns in their portfolio

Have at least 4 years experience of managing a team of healthcare communications professional.

Growing the division is a key part of the role and the candidate will need to demonstrate proven skills in developing new business and have an exceptional new business contacts list.

The candidate would ideally have experience gained within leading Med Comms and PR agencies, they need to have the ability to lead and manage programmes as well as hands on involvement in delivering targeted campaigns for our ethical PR and Med Ed accounts that sometimes cut across the marketing mix.

This person needs to have a flexible ‘can do’ positive attitude. Someone who can muck in and get things done, a real team approach, someone who has a real passion and energy for ethical PR and Med Ed and who is committed to delivering high quality work for clients.

IMPORTANT: As an agency, our Med Ed offering is on the softer side of Med Ed (i.e. not publications planning and hard core Med Comms, but more Consensus guidelines, advisory boards, satellite symposia, etc).

Interview Process

The final interview will involve a presentation to the directors.
