Experienced Hospital Specialist

Role Requirements
Qualifications
Relevant Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) preferred
ABPI qualified

Experience
Proven track record in hospital pharmaceutical sales
Demonstrable account management approach to business planning
Excellent selling skills, with ability to put patients at the core.
Demonstrable ability to strive towards personal vision of ‘excellence’ in all tasks.

Background of real and substantial achievements such as
Proven track record of project management in a sales environment
Successful track record selling to Hospital Specialists
Evidence of successfully working with formulary submissions
Has demonstrated real ability in developing Key Accounts
Has ideally promoted products within the therapy area or related therapy areas
Very familiar with the Secondary Care environment
Previous experience of working through a product launch would be a bonus but not essential

Role Requirements
Knowledge
Clearly knowledgeable about and able to describe the environment that the Hospital Specialist works in
Excellent understanding and application of ABPI Guidelines (will be able to work within the confines of strict regulations in a pre-license environment with a high level of professionalism and integrity)
Relevant therapy area knowledge preferred (rheumatology)

Overall..
Successful candidates
are likely to already have achieved a minimum grade of ‘Senior Sales Specialist’
will truly understand and be able to operate within an ‘Account Management’ type of role
have excellent interpersonal skills and effective presentation skills
demonstrate high levels of personal integrity, ethics and professionalism throughout their work

Additional requirements
Excellent knowledge of English language
Full driving licence and fit to drive
Ability to travel extensively within territory (on occasions, overnight stays may be necessary).
Eligible to work in the UK
