My client is interested to meet with any candidates that have experience in Medical Communications at a reasonably senior level with experience of managing a team.

Role :
* To provide overall direction for all accounts within a client service team
* Drive business within the team to meet or exceed the forecasted revenue
* Provide direct line management to all personnel within a designated client service team
* Promote ScopeMedical within existing accounts and develop new business opportunities

Responsibilities:
* Oversee and facilitate accurate and challenging forecasts for team income, updated as needed,
* Direct account allocation within the team
* Overall responsibility for profitability of all accounts in the team
* Work with the Managing Director on new business proposals and to resolve issues of client service
* Lead new business pitches
* Provide senior representation to clients, championing agency/staff as needed, and offering solutions to areas of concern
* Provide support to other team directors with issues that may affect the agency as a whole
* Identify areas of potential weakness within the agency and work with Managing Director and other team directors to find solutions
* Conduct regular team meetings as appropriate
* Keep Managing Director informed of all major developments within the client service teams, including changes within the accounts or significant personnel issues
* Conduct annual reviews of all team personnel and recommend salary adjustments where appropriate to the Managing Director
* Ensure training needs of individual team members are met
* Ensure team is following agency processes
* Manage recruitment within the team
* Champion the team within the agency
* Work with other team directors to ensure a consistent approach across all teams
* Represent the team and the company as a whole within the agency management group
* External ambassador for ScopeMedical

Person Profile

Candidates :

* Proven man-management experience and established leadership skills in an agency or industry role
* Previous senior role within the Pharmaceutical industry or agency

Key Skills over an above those at AD level:
* Ability to motivate others and provide clear direction
* Demonstrate gravitas and leadership skills both within the agency and with clients
* Good financial awareness and an ability to manage profitable accounts and grow business within existing accounts
* Manage project allocation efficiently within the team
* Ability to deal with personnel issues with tact, discretion and authority
