Commercial Director
A highly commercial, sale-oriented individual with an in depth understanding of strategic pharmaceutical marketing.
* This person will be responsible for new business development and promotion of the agency
* They will manage a team of 2-3 and will also have a personal sales target.
* They will have account direction or strategic direction responsibilities on one current account.
* They will sit on the management committee and be expected to actively contribute to all aspects of company corporate strategy.
* Primary focus will be on pure NBD (i.e. selling our services to new clients and new companies). Secondary focus will be to support the established account teams to expand our business on the brands we are already working on.
Job Package
Pension scheme - group personal pension plan. 5% of salary employee contribution and 7% employer contribution 2. Private medical insurance 3. Life insurance - 4 x annual salary 4. Car parking 5. Bonus (performance related). 25 days holiday (FTE plus public holidays) increasing after 5 years service (+ 1 day for each additional year).
Person Profile
Candidates :
* EXTENSIVE commercial experience from a Healthcare / Medical Communications agency at a senior level
* Sales and NBD skills and experience
* Ability to lead and develop a med comms pitch
Ideally -
* Life sciences degree
* Pharmaceutical industry marketing and or sales experience (ideally global)
* Line management experience
* A network of potential pharma industry customers
* Clear insight on where med comms fits into the marketing mix
