In this strategic role, you will manage large pharmacy groups throughout North West , reporting directly to the Key Account Controller. You will be able to adapt to the changing and evolving pharmacy market and account manage your client base through commercial benefits and our added value concepts. You will take total profit and loss responsibility for your client base, whilst driving the implementation of our key account strategy, formulating high level business plans and delivering far-reaching projects - so you can expect a high profile and real autonomy.
Job Purpose:
To achieve and exceed financial KPIs within a designated portfolio of key accounts, ensuring all account strategies are linked to UniChem's business goals and aims.
Responsible for achieving sales revenue budgets of £30m-£80m (depending on account portfolio)
Responsible for the effective management of investments budgets as delegated by KAC/CGM
Key Accountabilities
" To develop and deliver robust business strategies and plans which will achieve the required financial KPIs within a defined account portfolio utilising all available sales and marketing tools
Key Working Relationships:
" Owner/proprietors within major independent pharmacy groups
" Key contacts within leading industry bodies
" Senior Sales Team (Sales Director, Head of Independent Pharmacy Sales, CGM)
" UniChem board members including the M.D
" Branch General Management
" Pharmacy Development Managers.
" Various UniChem internal departments.
Job Package
30K basic + bens
Person Profile
To take on this challenge, you will require a minimum of two years' pharmaceutical or FMCG account management experience, plus outstanding commercial acumen, vision and drive.
MUST HAVE KEY ACCOUNT EXPERIENCE
