Role Overview

Would you like to work for a company that is going places? We have this great opportunity for a remote Account Manager. Your role will be to develop the business using virtual tools, acquire new customers and manage small and medium accounts for our Laboratory Products and Services division. Your strength will be in relationship building, with good understanding of applied research client base and, ideally, the range of products we sell balances, pipettes, filtration and consumables products, bioanalytics reagents and consumables|.
This is a home-based |virtual| role, with occasional team meetings at one of our sites.

What you will accomplish together with us:
- Building long-term relationships with a range of accounts, upselling and increasing revenue
- Identifying new prospects and establishing business relationships with new potential customers
- Understanding customer's processes, identifying opportunities and customer priorities
- Promoting assigned product portfolio remotely using all available technology
- Leading price and contract negotiations
- Maintaining accurate customer information and all documentation on the system
- Delivering ongoing product servicing by providing accurate product information, training and support where needed
- Working closely with other departments in order to provide customers with full technical information and product demonstrations
- Utilising all available sales tools to maximise sales efficiency |Salesforce, LinkedIn|

Person Specification

- Educated to a degree level in a life science discipline or equivalent
- Understanding of the life sciences industry and laboratory products
- Previous sales experience necessary, with experience in managing a sales process, including identifying opportunities, pre-call planning and time management
- Strong consultative approach in dealing with customers and internal stakeholders
- Strong sales and relationship building skills
- Strong presentation | communication skills over phone and video conferences
- Capable of working independently and as a part of a team
- Possessing strong business acumen, resilient and target driven
- Highly organised
