Excellent Opportunity for an Experienced Diagnostics Sales Person to become a Sales Specialist for a UK wide supplier of life saving therapies!

TERRITORY: North East UK & Scotland
PRODUCTS: Clinical Diagnostics - Transfusion/Haematology
CUSTOMERS: NHS & Private Clinical Laboratories

The Diagnostic Sales Specialist plans, develops and manages long-term relationships and strategic support to target customers, Key Opinion Leaders, Decision Makers and customer management teams as well as commercial initiatives. This includes local strategy development and plans that identify opportunities within the defined territory.

Key Responsibilities:
•  Build strategic customer relationships to foster a long-term relationship that favour's the company Diagnostic product offerings across local, regional, and nation levels.
•  Develop appropriate strategy to meet customer priorities, including a long-term vision for partnership with Accounts.
•  Demonstrate a broad comprehension of the customer's needs, market trends, industry challenges, major players, relevant products and technologies.
•  Bring the breadth of the portfolio, services and solutions, and expertise to account.
•  Develop a detailed account plan and an operating calendar that serves as the basis for weekly activities.
•  Generating Sales Reports including targeted accounts and activities to achieve territory sales plan
•  Ensure customers maintain their Inventory at contractually obligated levels
•  Achieve 100% to plan of annual sales within the product portfolio
•  Responsible for sales pipeline and forecast to close accuracy
•  Monitor competitor activity and competitors' products
•  Manage territory budget
•  Actively keep all customer contact and addresses in the CRM system complete and up to date
•  Attend congresses, exhibitions, conferences etc. as and when required throughout the year, both in the country of responsibility and abroad
•  Adhere to all company policies and processes.

Knowledge & Skills:
•  Selling skills within a Diagnostic healthcare market (essential)
•  IT literate to include a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office package (essential)
•  Ability to work methodically and proactively (essential)
•  Strong organisational and time management skills (essential)

Qualifications:
•  Life sciences degree and/or professional healthcare qualification (desirable)
