IT Technical Support Engineer - Dental Imaging Equipment

This is a dynamic role covering a full range of technical support in our business, from remote support to part identification and basic fault finding on physical equipment so will be an excellent opportunity for somebody looking to expand their skills in a UK subsidiary of the largest privately owned dental company.

Customer satisfaction is the main priority for us and being able to quickly, efficiently and politely resolve any technical issues our customers have is key to this. You will need to be able to prioritise, problem solve and work closely with your colleagues in various different departments.

As a position which has high customer interaction, you will be a key representative of our brand therefore you must have a positive attitude, excellent phone manner, excellent attention to detail as well as a willingness to help both your colleagues and our customers.

You will be using a variety of software; Microsoft Business Central, Office 365, Salesforce, teamviewer as well as learning our own all in one dental software platform.

It is predominantly an office based position but there will be a requirement for travel around the UK for training and occasional site visits to assist our technical team on installations, repairs or for exhibition set up. Once travel restrictions are completely removed, there will be a requirement to travel to our head office in Finland for training.

The successful candidate will have:
" Full UK Driving license
" Level 3 qualification or equivalent work experience
" Show clear initiatives on expanding technical know-how in accordance with the product portfolio and business development.
" Apply logical thought processes to work through and solve problems.
" Ability to read and understand computer aided design drawings.
" An understanding of networking and connectivity is desirable.
" IT experience and a high level of computer literacy.
" Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
" Must be willing and highly motivated to learn about our products and industry with a willingness to quickly integrate and become a productive part of a small dynamic team

Package:
· Competitive base salary
· 23 days per annum (3 to be taken during Christmas shutdown). Additional day added after 3 and 5 years service, Taking maximum holiday to 25 days + bank holidays.
· Private health, dental and optical care
· Death in Service benefit of four-times base salary.
· 7.5% pension contribution to a defined plan
