A rapidly growing diagnostics company are seeking an International Product Manager to implement a global strategy for their Mass spectrometry product family! This is a brand new product range set to launch in the next 2 years, so it is a very exciting time to be joining.

This position is office based in Birmingham, with 1 day working from home. It would be a great match for a current Product Manager, or Scientific Salesperson looking to move into marketing. Experience with Mass Spectrometry is desirable.

Duties of the role:
- Working with commercial partners to ensure successful delivery and launch of the mass spectrometry product family.
- Liaise with key KOL's to ensure delivery of collaborations, clinical studies and reimbursement projects to support launch activities.
- Development of launch plans for the mass spectrometry product in line with marketing plan.
- Work with subsidiary sales and product and marketing managers to ensure successful launch of the mass spectrometry products.
- Monitor sales vs. budget providing proposals for marketing initiatives for continued sales growth.
- Creation of promotional literature.
- Liaison with Technical Service Department.
- Liaison with Regulatory Affairs Manager to ensure compliance.
- Liaison with Scientific Affairs Managers to ensure scientific activities are in line with commercial needs.
- Liaison with Production Departments to ensure sales targets can be met.
- Liaison with R&D departments regarding pipeline products .
- Management of Marketing requirements of New Product Development System including market research, forecasting and commercial justification, working closely with Marketing Communications team during launch phase to ensure successful product launch.
- Monitor report and comment regularly on the sales performance of the solutions product portfolio. Present this data at regular management meetings at all levels when required.
- Post-launch product cycle management with guidance from the International Marketing Manager.
- Attend international exhibitions and meetings.

Candidate specification:
Essential -
- A biology, biochemistry or immunology degree, with experience in a life science commercial role.
- Experience of product launch.
- Experience of developing a new market.
- Experience of managing key external commercial relationships.
- A good understanding of the in-vitro diagnostic market, especially analysers and software.
- Experience of producing content for marketing material.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in marketing or selling IVD products.
- Must be able to travel internationally occasionally over a weekend.

Desirable -
- A postgraduate qualification in a scientific, business or management subject.
- Mass Spectrometry experience.
