A great opportunity for applicants with post-degree experience working as a Microbiologist or Microbiology Lab Technician or with post-degree customer-facing experience who is looking to move into a scientific commercial position. The role involves telephone based customer support, providing in house product training, working closely with the Quality team and field-based team to provide assistance and information when required.

Knowledge of current microbiology lab techniques, excellent communication skills and customer-focused mentality is essential!

CUSTOMERS: Water, Environmental, Food and Veterinary Laboratories
Office-based in Hampshire

Main responsibilities:
Provide in-house technical product support for full product range for customers and company employees when required.
Answer written or telephone enquiries and complaints from customers and staff concerning the nominated range of products. Ensure that any necessary reports and documentation are generated and maintained.
Provide in-house customer training courses to ensure excellent understanding and efficient use of products
Provide technical support for pre-sales activities, such as product presentations and demonstrations.
Maintain product, technical and professional knowledge.
Attend company and external training courses and meetings when required.

Person Specification:
· Educated to degree level in life science subject.
· Post-degree experience working in an laboratory, with experience in microbiology techniques essential.
· Experience training others or experience in a customer-focused position is desirable.
