This role is office based near to Glasgow, working closely with the field based team.

We have a 12 month temporary contract vacancy for an Account Manager in our Internal Sales Team, based in Head Office in Strathaven, Lanarkshire.
Role:
Maintain existing business opportunities and develop excellent relationships with low and high revenue key customer accounts
Identify and develop new business opportunities across your designated region, working closely with the field-based account manager.
Monitor competitor activity, market trends and gain excellent business insight.
Attendance at industry conferences and exhibitions as and when required.

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic and motivated with excellent communication skills.
Candidates for this role should have a chromatography background. Practical experience working in an Analytical Laboratory with HPLC (MS) and/or GC (MS), or experience working in the chromatography consumables marketplace would be beneficial.
The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic, highly motivated sales person with excellent communication and team working skills. The ability to successfully develop accounts through technical selling and relationship building with a diversity of clients is essential.
