An opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to take on a new challenge, joining a UK market leader in Flow Cytometry and Cell Biology!

Your Role
Reporting to the National Sales and Marketing Manager, you will manage a team of three Instrument Sales Specialists. This role supports all of the UK and Ireland and requires extensive travel. Your team will support the National Sales Team. You will develop your team to maximize the sales and profitability of the company's instrument research product portfolio. You will support your team to promote, sell, train and support customers to use our range of truly innovative instruments for flow cytometry. You will help to develop our relationships with customers and key opinion leaders in academia, biotech, CROs/CMOs and pharmaceutical companies.

- Holds a BSc/MSc or PhD, in a life sciences discipline.
- Strong flow cytometry background (analysis and cell sorting)
- Proven Track record of success selling in this field
- Demonstrable leadership capabilities - preferable with 7-10 years of team leadership experience
- Career orientated with a drive to develop further in a rapidly expanding business
- Has experience in the day to day management and development of Instrument Sales Specialists
- Maintains product and market knowledge. Comfortable with strategic planning
- Is confident with presenting 1-to-1 or to large groups, and has excellent written and communication skills
- A good problem solver, who accepts challenges and works well within a team environment to solve them
- Extensive travel fits your lifestyle
