We have an exciting new opportunity to join an established patient handling / mobility company as an Installation Engineer across South of England (M4 Corridor)

There is an attractive package in place with a competitive salary, company van, pension, full training and 23 days holiday increasing yearly to 25 days.

You responsibilities:
• Carry out the installation of ceiling hoists and bathing systems
• Ensure health and safety requirements and arrangements are met when working on customer's premises and is done in professional and safe manner
• Complete and submit all relevant documentation accurately and within agreed timescales
• On arrival at customer's premises, to inform staff of reason for visit and request permission before carrying out required work. Upon completion of required work, to ensure work area is clean and tidy, disposal of parts and chemicals is in line with site instructions and relevant documentation is fully completed, correctly authorised and required copies left with authorising employee
• Ensure personal appearance and levels of hygiene and health are of an exemplary standard in keeping with the company's market area and ethos
• Maintain all tools, spares and equipment within his/her care in a safe working condition highlighting anything unsafe to the Installation Supervisor immediately. Any losses, breakages or excess wear and tear should be reported to the Installation Supervisor to authorise Engineer to obtain replacements
• Liaise with Co-ordinator and customer contacts to advise intended appointment times and duration of works to ensure customers are fully informed at all times
• Highlight to senior managers any shortcomings, malpractice or dishonesty contrary to company policies and procedures discovered in the course of carrying out duties
• When required carry out service, repairs, or retro fits to equipment on-service contract in accordance with procedures or technical advice notices

• This role requires previous technical experience in a similar environment
• Electrically/mechanical AND plumbing qualification to a minimum of City & Guilds 2 / 3 or equivalent, with experience in an engineering discipline
• Ability to work on their own or as part of a team
• Knowledge and experience of working in the medical device industry would be beneficial
• Good physical fitness level
• Ability to work at heights (PASMA & IPAF)
• IT literate and working experience of MS Office & IOS packages

Personal qualities:
• Good interpersonal skills
• Strong communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Regular travel throughout South of England will be required.
• With occasional travel to locations within UK/Isle of Man with overnight stays away from home as required.
• An enhanced DBS disclosure check will be carried out
