Installation Engineer

This is an exciting new opportunity to join an upcoming, innovative team as an Installation Engineer focused on delivering the installation of simple to high complex solutions, the world's leading health supplier in Diagnostics equipment on a 6 year fixed term contract.

Responsibilities:
· Reporting to the Senior Project Manager.
· You will provide your engineering expertise to the installation, de-installation and relocation of high-volume, critical analysers (for Blood Science, Molecular and Tissue diagnostics solutions).
· Our clients solutions range from medium- to large-sized solutions and cover key NHS, University and private service providers.
· The position requires significant travel across the UK, and, less frequently, to Ireland and Agency countries (Cyprus, Malta, Iceland and Israel).

Person Specification:
· We are seeking an Engineer with 3+ years of experience within one or more of these industries: diagnostic, biomedical, aerospace engineering
· You are an ambitious and motivated, qualified field engineering professional with experience of high-value capital equipment.
· You will be qualified to an HNC/HND level or above in electronics. A relevant science subject would also be desirable but not essential.
· Preferably, you will have significant field service experience in pathology practices, particularly in automated laboratory pathology systems and associated data management systems.
· Specifically, you will be able to demonstrate the following technical skills, knowledge and attributes:
· Applies strong organizational and prioritization skills, with a logical and process-driven mindset, and ability to manage personal time
· Quick learner with innovative and continual improvement mindset
· Experience of "on-site" customer facing engineering support
· Proven track record of troubleshooting experience
· Good working knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems and information technology
· A valid driver's license and indefinite rights of working in the UK are required
· Flexible for nights away and extensive travel.
