I am working with a scientific company based in Oxford who sell a range of laboratory software products into the life science research and education market.
This is a great opportunity for a Life Science graduate to begin a career in scientific sales!

Prime Function:
To increase sales of products into the life science research and education market and support existing order processing for the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities:
· Support the outside sales representative to ensure the growth of the assigned territory.
· Acquire and maintain a high understanding of the product range.
· Qualify incoming sales leads and refer to outside sales representative.
· Work alongside customers, assisting and advising them of products and the correct solution to meet their application requirements.
· Maintain territorial market and competitor awareness, developing and presenting ideas for new opportunities.
· Research colleges, universities, and companies to develop leads and refer to the appropriate sales representative.
· Establish and maintain effective contact with the potential and existing customer base through direct marketing and cold calling.
· Conduct quarterly check-ins with users to evaluate service and promote workshops, training activities, new features and products.
· Update and maintain accurate records in the customer relationship management system.
· Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other members of the sales team.
· Back up for full-time order entry/logistics personnel
· Other related tasks as required.

· Minimum of a BSc in life science subject.
· Strong communication and customer skills.
· Desire to begin a career in sales.
