Exciting opportunity to join a new team build as a Hospital Account Manager in Unlicensed Medicines
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
1. To expand the current customer base through engagement with senior purchasing personnel in key hospital accounts within the territory.
2. To actively promote the service offering to these key customers
3. To negotiate supply contracts on specified products within target pricing and margin guidelines
4. To identify commercial opportunities to further expand the portfolio
5. Maintain and report on market intelligence including competitor activity and identification of trends in the market place.
Key attributes required:
1. Detailed knowledge of the UK commercial pharmaceutical sector.
2. A minimum of three years' experience working in hospitals.
3. Must have previous experience of contract negotiation in hospital pharmacy and have a sound understanding of the procurement process.
4. Ideally, previous experience in the field of unlicensed medicines.
5. An extensive network of contacts within hospital pharmacy
6. Proven track record of successful deal completion at this level
7. Commercially astute and able to think on feet.
8. Comfortable working in a small, fast moving, commercial environment
9. A self starter who does not need to be closely managed but understands what people need to know and when
