We are currently recruiting for Field Service Engineer looking for their next step in their professional development to join Roche Diagnostics, the world's leading health supplier in Diagnostics equipment. We invite applications from field service engineers with experience of fault diagnosis and repair of electro-mechanical/fluidic/electronics systems, or from someone with the right skills and attitude wanting to move into a field service position. Ideally you will have started your career troubleshooting at component level and have progressively built up your expertise to systems level in any of these industries (biomedical engineering, industrial engineering, automation, aerospace but to name a few).

The vacancy is based from the South West, based in Devon and Somerset willing to travel in the surrounding areas for great coverage of key accounts.

Your role

As part of the UK Engineering Support team, you will report to the South West Regional Technical Regional Manager and be involved in providing first-class customer service covering trouble-shooting to component level, technical upgrades/maintenance, installation and customer training. Our customers include the NHS, Universities and private pathology laboratories and you will work on specified products, ranging from large to medium sized biomedical test equipment.


Job Package

- On target bonus earning potential: 12%
- Company car or car allowance: £7,800 per annum

Person Profile

You will be able to demonstrate a successful track record in a field service capacity. You will be qualified to an ONC/HNC level or above in electronics. A relevant science subject would also be desirable.

You will possess a confident working approach. Customer focused, you will be capable of representing the company in a positive manner at client sites that enhances the reputation and professionalism of Roche Diagnostics Limited. 3 Stage
- An online/remote assessment followed
- Face to face interview to talk about CV and company
- Final interview at head office which will include a presentation
