Field Service Engineer

We have a new vacancy with an established OEM in the automated blood processing market. The Company's products are for use in surgical blood salvage, blood component collections, and plasma collections.

For South West England & Wales Region, the incumbent will be a customer-focused and technically motivated Field Service Engineer, who will be responsible for the installation, service, repair and maintenance of our portfolio of devices and services as well as for providing application support for the customers to ensure a correct use of the installed equipment.

The incumbent should have his residence in the assigned territory and is expected to travel within their designated region and UK as required

Responsibilities
·Installation, proactive and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair services for customers in the above - mentioned region
·Management of minimal downtime on all systems, through effective training of site personnel and quick problem investigations
·Organization, coordination and preparation of application trainings
·Delivery of application training to site personnel to effectively use the medical equipment installed
·Coordination and delivery of technical training for customer personnel
·Development of strong partnerships with prospective customers by organizing product demo as well as with existing customers by constantly promoting our products

Education and Experience Requirements
·Degree in technical engineering or technical education with sound technical knowledge
·At least 4 years of experience in a Field Service position or medical device environment or a similar role
·Impeccable customer service skills and a confident and professional manner in customer facing environments.
·Technical aptitude to understand, train customers and users on products
·Excellent mastery of English
·Flexibility to travel and willingness to overnight
·Ability to work autonomously in a constantly changing environment
·Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
·Capacity to manage time constraints
·Demonstrated computer & basic networking skills
