Working with a world leading medical company on a varied range of medical equipment (from defibrillators & chest compressors to cots & beds) this would be an ideal job for anyone with current medical servicing experience who wants to progress their career. It would also be useful to thrive on customer interaction and enjoy spotting sales opportunities and selling to customers through understanding their needs and offering excellent customer service.

The Job's Mission
To play a leading role in supporting the on-site technical needs of customers. You will be supporting customers across the North East region, where no two days will be the same, you could be repairing patient stretchers to temperature monitoring systems, defibrillators, automatic chest compression equipment. This role will include an element of sales.

Key Activities & Accountabilities within your territory:
Set objectives and manage results to improve repair service levels
Ownership and oversite of service contracts
Maintain service oriented, customer relationship management
Ensure all Medical's product are maintained in optimum condition
Ensure excellent follow-up on all customer initiated issues
Give technical support and training to Product Managers and sales staff
Give technical support and training to Customers and External Technicians
Achieve sales targets within region

Within your role you will work to key performance indicators, managing your own time and workload. You will enjoy the autonomy of running your own diary and prioritizing critical service calls. You will have a flair for problem solving and coming up with solutions whilst keeping calm under pressure. You will naturally be service minded, your quality of repair work will be second to none and you will take pride in your ability to provide such service with a positive attitude at all times regardless of the situation.

Experience and Education:
Must have:
Good electronic skills, previous exposure to mechanical troubleshooting (although this is a lesser part of the role)

Ideally you will have:
Experience in medical equipment.
Experience in the hospital environment and health care work.
Experienced field service engineers from other backgrounds will be considered


Basic Salary of circa £30k per annum
Company Bonus - around 10%
KPI Sales bonus - up to 15%
