Established over 60 years and with more than 2000 employees worldwide a leading manufacturer of life science instruments and consumables is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their tight knit team in the UK. This leading brand are known for cutting edge products, reliability and high service levels, they are established and selling well in multiple areas of laboratory, pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical and food industries.

Job -
Reporting to the Service Manager day to day responsibilities include, Planned preventative maintenance (PPM), fault finding & troubleshooting breakdowns, repair, installation and end user technical support and training within a number of key accounts. Products include Liquid Handling, Centrifuges, CO2 Incubators, PCR and will be in commercial, academic and research laboratories across the Cambridge, Chelmsford, Stevenage, London area.
Building and maintaining relationships with end users and reporting into customers at management level to showcase the service levels, a strong customer focus is a must with high attention to detail and drive to supply the best level of customer service.
Responsible for organising own workload and stock levels in car, travel further afield to cover sickness and holidays.

Your background -
Previous Field Service experience in a similar setting
HNC or similar in Electronics/Engineering
Strong customer focus and desire to provide the best after sales support.
Current team have a diverse background in Laboratory and Scientific products from both third parties and manufacturers based either on the one site or in the field.
Located in and around the Home Counties

Package -
Salary: up to £33,000 depending on experience
