Field Service Engineer
We are seeking to recruit a customer focused Field Service Engineer to support a range of instruments located within research and analytical laboratories throughout the UK and Europe.
We are looking for someone ideally located close to Manchester - Leeds area, M62 corridor, to support the region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of vast product range. You will be a part of an international team spread out across Europe with Headquarter in Uppsala, Sweden.
You will be primarily responsible for the Northern UK and to support the Field Service Engineer in Germany. The role will be split 50% Northern UK and 50% Germany. Occasional visits to other European customers may be required. The role is field based working from a home office for 37.5 hours per week.
Person Specification:
· Technical understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
· Servicing experience of laboratory equipment as either a field service engineer or a lab technician preferred but not essential.
· Knowledge and experience working in a laboratory environment.
· The ability to communicate effectively with both your customers and colleagues, especially in situations with high levels of emotion.
· Able to perform work alone.
· Good organizational skills. Being able to plan your work in an efficient way.
· Team player with strong personal skills.
· Willing and able to travel internationally at short notice.
· Driving license.
