We have got an exciting new opportunity based in North of Italy, Lombardy with an Analytical instrumentation OEM as a field service engineer that specialise on PCR, reaction station, sample prep, UV and chromatography instruments. This vacancy has surfaced due to internal development opportunities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- To provide an efficient and professional repair, maintenance and service provision on a wide variety of HPLC, GC, MS, CTC, Dissolution, UV/VIS and FTIR instruments
- Maintain up to date knowledge of the Company's products and services and current research to keep customers and potential customers informed and maintain the company's profile.
- Maintain data and provide accurate reports to deadlines
- Maintain adequate amounts of stock and equipment at all times in order to minimise customer downtime and ensure compliance with contractual objectives
- Develop and maintain effective customer facing communication and questioning skills to determine the issues to be resolved.
- Intermediate level IT skills in MS Office and report writing in Word & Excel.
- Ensure customer field service reports are completed and any surplus parts are returned to the office within a 48 hour time frame.

Person Specification

- And end user that has had basic troubleshooting and repairs experience in laboratory environments
- Has a full driving licence in Italy
- An enthusiastic character who enjoys problem solving
- Holds a green card
