We have an opportunity to join a leading healthcare and pharmaceutical services provider across UK and Ireland.

Role Overview

The primary duty of the Field Service Engineer is to support the sales team to deliver temperature-controlled cabinets throughout the UK. You will also provide calibration certification for any work performed to our customer base. Additionally, you will need to coordinate with customers, internal personnel or departments.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

Installation and delivery of equipment

Calibration/temperature mapping, servicing and maintenance of medical refrigeration equipment

Provide support with the implementation, installation and commissioning of equipment into new and existing contracts

Travel to various sites, performing preventive and reactive maintenance on medical equipment, including fault finding and diagnostic support

Diagnose and complete repairs as required on medical equipment

Managing service contracts to ensure customer requirements are achieve

Work to maintain a high standard of customer service and in line with health and safety procedures for your safety as well as that of your colleagues, our customers and members of the public

Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees

Adherence to all Company operational and quality requirements and procedures.

Adherence to all Company health and safety requirements and procedures.

Representing the best interests of the company at all times.

Other tasks requested by the management and Directors of the Company from time to time.


Person Specification

Previous engineering experience working with refrigeration / cold storage equipment in and out of industry (laboratory, hospital, catering, supermarkets)
MUST hold ISO 17025 accreditation certificate

Must be able to build and maintain key relationships across multiple levels within the organisation as well as with customers and key suppliers.
The role requires the ability to communicate efficiently both verbally and in written forms with other staff members, Customers and Suppliers.
Must have an understanding basic business IT tools such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Sage and Excel as well as Internet and business websites, and be able to use these tools to effectively
An ability and willingness to travel within the UK and overseas to support our distribution network.
A valid UK driving license and passport is required.
