Field Service Engineer

Pathology Analyzers - fault finding, maintenance, servicing & repair.

A great opportunity to join a specialist manufacturer of clinical diagnostics instrumentation used in NHS and private healthcare laboratories! This company have a great reputation for training staff and for product quality.

The region covers the West Midlands, working as part of a team of 14+ field service engineers across the UK.

- Provide field based support for the diagnosis and subsequent repair of instrumentation and software.
- Provide routine preventative maintenance and installation for instrumentation and software supplied.
- Work closely with the wider commercial team to ensure excellent customer service and support.

Suitable for:

Field Service Engineer (pathology/biomedical/scientific/laboratory/healthcare equipment) OR

Ex-Military Engineer OR

Applicants with hospital pathology laboratory experience (e.g. Biomedical Scientist or Associate Practitioner) looking to move into field service.

Person Specification:
Knowledge and experience in troubleshooting and repair of electromechanical systems is essential - whether this is gained from an engineer role or position within a laboratory.
You must have the ability to work independently with minimal direction, and to collaborate with colleagues in other disciplines, with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Demonstrated skills in problem solving.
