Field Service Engineer - Analytical Instruments

This role reports to the National Analytical Service Manager.

You will be responsible for effectively and efficiently completing all service related activities to satisfy customer requirements and to enhance MT service profitability. The role will include attending breakdowns, carrying out routine service visits and certification/calibration activities, and installation of new instruments. You will take charge of these activities and working with the customer, perform them to enhance and re-enforce the MT-Customer relationship at all times.

You will also ensure that all requirements under Health and Safety legislation; customer specific site regulations and required quality systems are adhered to and actively demonstrate the support of other areas/departments within the company. At times you will also be required to provide personal information to our customers so that they can conduct their security checks.

The ideal candidate will have a HNC/HND qualification in an Electronics or Electromechanical Engineering discipline, ideally with knowledge and experience of laboratory, medical, or precision scientific instrumentation. Experience of electronic and electro-mechanical fault finding is essential. A basic knowledge of Chemistry would be desirable.

Competitive Salary
39 hours per week, Monday - Friday
£2,000 annual bonus subject to targets being achieved.
