Electromed Engineer

Our client is the leading provider of managed services, multi-vendor maintenance, integrated clinical consumables management, and equipment sales/rentals for the acute healthcare sector.
They are looking for an experienced Medical Device/Biomedical Engineer to join the team as an Electromed Engineer at their workshop in Southend-on-Sea.

What will you be doing?
- Provision of daily on-site repair, preventative maintenance and asset management of medical devices for specified hospital contracts.
- To work with and support the UK Biomedical Sites Manager in achieving contract KPI's.
- Complete all associated administrative work in completing repairs and preventative maintenance as outlined in Althea procedures.
- Support customers when ever needed to ensure minimal disruption to the operation of all Electromed contracts.
- Build long term relationships with customers, subcontractors and staff to ensure responsiveness and superior customer service.

- Qualification in Engineering, electronics or medical technologies such as biomedical engineering.
- Experience in an Electro-med setting.
- Experience working with Lightsource, Processor's, electro surgery units, Video System's or similar equipment
- Familiarity with appropriate national and local regulatory standards.
- Excellent Customer Relationship skills
- Excellent written and oral communication

- HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- 5 Year's experience in the medical industry
