Customer Support Engineer

A great opportunity to join a specialist and leading technology-based company that specialise in ICU Ventilators, Defibrillators and monitoring systems.
This position is based at the company's site in Worksop.

The role will suit applicants with a minimum HNC qualification plus experience servicing either medical equipment (preferred) OR complex electro-mechanical instrumentation with a desire to move into the healthcare sector.

Role responsibilities:
- Service, calibration and repair of medical devices, predominately ICU Ventilators
- Assisting customer support team with advice on product functionality
- Very occasional travel to client sites.

Person Specification:
- Minimum of 2 years servicing and repair experience post qualification
Hold an Engineering or clinical qualification of level 4 (HNC) or above
Experience servicing medical equipment or complex, electro-mechanical products
An aptitude to follow technical instructions/manuals and maintain records with high attention to detail.
Lone working will be required, so a willingness to self-manage is a prerequisite.
Positive solution focused attitude
Good communication skills, written, oral and IT
