We have a new vacancy with a leading independent biotechnology company who supply a comprehensive range of quality laboratory equipment, consumables and reagents. This role is for a recent life science graduate who wants to move into a customer focused position, and then go on to develop internally into a field sales, procurement or marketing role to name a few.
The position of Customer Service Officer consists of providing excellent customer service and administrative support.
This role entails:
·Sales order processing, analysis, collating delivery runs and preparing quotations
·Ensuring a quality service is offered to both internal and external customers
·Taking ownership of complaints and queries and proactively following through to resolution
·Ensuring all customer technical queries are well investigated and resolved
·Field sales support which will included recording meetings, dealing with follow-up, sample and literature requests, liaising with customers and making appointments
·Being part of a continuous improvement process across the company, sharing ideas
·Assisting in preparing and developing the documentation of the organisation's procedures for customer service
·Raising purchase orders and order progressing
·Assisting other teams with post, expenses, credit card transitions, month end routine, timesheets, warehouse and delivery analysis
Who they're after:
·Life Science degree
·People person, enjoys customer service and relationship building, sales interest
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail
·Working effectively both independently and as part of a team
·Strong IT skills including MS Excel
·Organised, with a positive demeanour.
