We are looking for a creative Content Specialist who can take technical scientific information and translate it in to simple, concise, grammatically correct and above all, engaging content. The goal is to create a single voice across all of our marketing channels, including digital and traditional, championing the company's brand and ensuring brand consistency.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
· Edit, proof-read and improve written content for both digital and traditional channels, ensuring clarity and accuracy
· Creation and implementation of a content calendar and delivering a content strategy that aligns with the company's commercial goals
· Content creation for digital and traditional channels including social media management, SEO optimised website copy, engaging campaign content, product literature and printed materials
· Work closely with the Media Production specialists to create engaging and informative video content
· Collaborate closely with Regulatory Affairs and Medical/ Scientific teams to ensure legal & regulatory compliance of all content

Person Specification:
· English, Marketing or Journalism related degree
· Typically, 4-6 years of relevant experience in digital content marketing preferably in the biotechnology / life science / pharmaceutical industry
· Experience of writing creative content to drive engagement and growth
· Experience owning and managing a content calendar
· Experience managing and coordinating projects for different target audiences
· Highly articulate with an excellent command of written English
· Very creative, with the ability to conceive interesting ideas for content
· Strong attention to detail
· Excellent written, presentation and communication skills
· Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as a minimum)
· Experience of Google and/or Adobe analytics.
· Ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships (internal and external)

· Marketing qualification
· Medical or scientific qualification
· Experience of marketing in regulated markets, especially biotechnology or pharmaceutical
· Experience of international markets and marketing across subsidiary organisations
· Understanding of how technology is changing marketing and the diagnostic & therapeutic markets
