Commercial Database Administrator
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Systems.
The Commercial Systems team manages and maintains the various systems (CRM, Sales Reporting, Ordering and Rebate systems) which support the commercial business. This involves ongoing system development, responding to customer queries, providing training and master data maintenance.
Position Overview:
Facilitating the business processes by supporting the day-to-day systems and tools, e.g.
- Master Data management (data entry and maintenance)
- External and internal data validation
- Core & bespoke system maintenance and development
- Pricing support and maintenance
- Sales reporting capabilities
- Facilitating the work of our internal customers, by providing accurate data in timely manner
- Provide support for our internal and external customers with data or system queries & training
- Cultivate the skills needed to exploit the data and managing the issues of data privacy and security.
- Supporting the development of future systems capabilities to reflect the changing market and customer environment.
- Conduct system testing and provide constructive feedback.
Person Specification:
- 3+ years of relevant system experience (Preferably Salesforce or other CRM system, SAP, Oracle) in both development and maintenance
- Positive customer services attitude
- High numeracy, analytical, statistical and critical reasoning skills with the ability to work accurately under strict time pressures
- Strong Microsoft experience (particularly Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint)
- Good team player with effective communication skills at all levels
- Strong Problem solving skills
- Ability to portray data in a relevant and visual format
