The Role Details
Title - Clinical Nurse Specialist - Beds, mattresses and other hospital and nursing care equipment
Location - Covering Barking, Havering & Redbridge (Queens & St Georges Hospitals)
Salary - Competitive Basic Salary, Car or Car Allowance (£435 per month), £4k bonus, plus benefits
As the Clinical Nurse Advisor, you will take responsibility for:
· Advice and guidance on equipment selection
· Clinical ward walks to match equipment use to patient need
· In service product training programs
· Customer education programs, forums and study days
· Pressure ulcer prevalence surveys and outcome related planning and monitoring
· Provide added reassurance and a commitment to improving both clinical and cost effectiveness for our contracted partners and their patients
· Rental equipment management and reporting
Key relationships -
· Clinical Nurse Manager (Internal)
· National Rental Manager (Internal)
· Trust Contract Manager (External)
What the company are looking for:
· An experienced Nurse Advisor with strong training and support skills
· Previous experience of providing training and education on medical beds and therapeutic surfaces would be great
· Strong knowledge of pressure care, wound care or similar
· Must be able to deal with customers confidently in a variety of situations e.g. demonstrations, presentations and ward visits etc
· Ability to have or develop negotiation and interpersonal skills to handle a range of customer contracts
