Fatima was looking to return to the dental industry after having to leave when she relocated. After a chat with our Dental Account Manager Libby, Fatima was able to secure a role back in the industry that she missed. We caught up with her to find out how she was getting on after being in her role for a year... 

 
What were you looking for when you were seeking a new role?

"I was looking for career development. I had relocated and had to leave my previous job and wasn’t able to find something within dentistry so I had to leave the profession altogether. I was looking to enter the dental world again and develop my skills that had been made redundant from not working in the field for so long."

What benefits have you had since securing your role?

"I’ve been able to move out and become more independent. I’ve also been able to save more and challenge myself mentally and physically again. The challenge is what drives me in a role and pushes me to succeed."

How did you find the recruitment process?

"The recruitment process was good. I was receive a debrief with Libby at each stage and was able to progress with her support. The time between the interviews was a little long because of the company so the total process actually took a little bit longer than we had initially anticipated but it was worth it in the end!"

How has your work/life balance improved?

"I have more control over my work/life balance now. I was in a role previously that had required me to work around the clock and I felt that i could never escape from work. I am able to plan my day and week more effectively and whilst I do work the occasional weekend, it doesn’t feel like work when you love what you do"

How did you find the service provided to you by Zenopa?

"Libby was a great point of contact. She was supportive and helped me at various stages. She would prep me before each part of each interview and then would debrief me at the end. Libby was on hand whenever I needed any support. Organising the interview stages etc was easy and she was a great middle person to direct all my queries to when I felt too nervous to speak to the employers."
