We caught up with Becky just over a year after the Healthcare Comms team placed her in her current role...
What were you looking for when you were seeking a new role?
"I was looking for a challenge. I had become comfortable in my previous role and I wanted a larger team to bounce off and grow my skills working on exciting projects. I also wanted to move up into a manager role. My other wish was working closer into central London – somewhere full of buzz!"
What benefits have you had since securing your role?
"Within the first 3 months I was promoted to Account Manager. The confidence boost this gave me was immense and I have felt an enormous amount of support to keep growing. This agency really looks after people’s skills – my expertise in social media for example has been honed in on and I’m asked to ‘show off’ about this as much as possible. It’s a great team to be a part of and I look forward progressing further."
How did you find the recruitment process?
"Despite multiple interviews and tests, I remember the recruitment process here fondly. Communication from the Zenopa team was great so I knew exactly what was going on through the process and they even offered bespoke advice for the different stages. The team here came across completely genuine and open which I immediately warmed to."
How has your work/life balance improved?
"I am now in central London which improves my commute greatly, as well as being closer to my friends, restaurants and pubs which is great!"
How did you find the service provided to you by Zenopa?
"Working closely with Phil Hardy I felt so at ease. I relied on his vast knowledge of the Healthcare Comms industry and trusted his opinion greatly. He first gave great advice on how to adapt my CV to be suitable (having not changed it much since I was at University, it needed some work). He was able to secure me multiple interviews and worked with his colleague Holly Haynes to make sure I was getting the best opportunities for me. The Zenopa team were a delight to work with – knowledgeable and friendly."
