What were you looking for when you were seeking a new role?
"I was looking to get into Account Management after having been a Video Editor/Motion Graphic designer for 3 years as my previous role to that was an Account Executive. I wanted to progress with my career and move onto another agency to gain further experience."
What benefits have you had since securing your role?
"Since securing my role, I’ve gained more of an insight into project management, finance and also creative and social media campaigns. I’ve fortunately still been able to keep my editing skills as I still do this inhouse to save money on projects so I’m now fulfilling two roles. Although it was a £1000 drop in salary making this move, I’m happy with the progress that I’ve made and the experience I’ve gained so far."
How did you find the recruitment process?
"I had Phil as my recruiter and found him to be extremely helpful. As it was quite a big step for me leaving the first ‘proper’ job I had since university, I found the thought of leaving a comfortable workplace behind quite daunting, but Phil continuously kept me up to date with feedback, new positions and also generally reassuring me at any points I had any questions. Overall I felt the transition was a real smooth one."
How has your work/life balance improved?
"I actually work further away from home now meaning I now get home later so I wouldn’t say it has ‘improved’ my work/life balance although the agency itself are very flexible with personal appointments and working from home which is one of the element I love about the agency. They’re family orientated and have a real understanding of lifestyle and personal commitments."
How did you find the service provided to you by Zenopa?
"Although I’ve only used Zenopa just the once, I would definitely think of going through the same recruitment agency again due to the support and reassurance I received throughout. A lot of thorough research was conducted into what I was looking forward and what role would really compliment my key skills and that really paid off. I like that follow up calls were made post-interview and in return I was updated immediately with any feedback the employer provided which meant I didn’t have to spend days out of the loop, anxiously waiting."
