ROLE: Business Relationship Associate
LOCATION: Cardiff

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Builds and develops relationships with customers throughout Europe.
- Proactively identifies potential new customers in the life sciences sector.
- Develops and maintains a strong understanding of the company's products and service portfolio.
- Works with the European Business Manager to create and implement a realistic sales and marketing plan to grow the business in line with the company's global goals and objectives.
- Develops and increases sales revenue to meet revenue forecasts and sales goals.
- Develops and updates marketing materials for conferences and targeted marketing campaigns.
- Attends conferences and meetings and coordinates company marketing exhibits.
- Guides customers to products and services that are most appropriate for their needs.
- Writes proposals and reports for commercial contract research work in partnership with internal scientific staff.
- Identifies areas for product/service improvement and development.
- Assists in steering the development and commercialisation of the company's global innovation projects.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Applicants should have a scientific background, preferably a BSc or Masters degree in a biomedical subject, or a business degree with experience in the life sciences industry.
- Experience in sales and/or marketing, ideally in the life sciences industry.
